🎉 Welcome to Tavrn Alpha
This is the first production build of Tavrn Alpha. A major milestone in the platform’s development. Milestone Build 10 introduces the core functionality of Tavrn in working condition, and marks the beginning of real-world testing and feedback.
If you’re an alpha tester: thank you. Your insights will help shape Tavrn into something lasting and meaningful.

The following key systems and features are live and ready for testing:
Servers: Create, join, and interact in multi-channel communities
DMs: One-on-one direct messaging
Settings: User-level controls for personalization and account management
AHA! Program: Submit ideas and feedback directly to the team
Link Safety: Guardrails to flag unsafe or suspicious URLs
Invite Codes: Controlled entry system for server and account invites
Server Verification: Early support for verified server programs
Media Gallery: Upload, browse, and interact with shared media
Uploads: Image, video, and file attachments fully supported
GIF Support: Early integration of GIFs for messaging and servers (experimental)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Adds an extra layer of account protection
⚠️ Known Issues & Limitations
We are actively working on several areas. Please keep these in mind while testing:
Account Switching is Buggy: You may encounter broken flows or incomplete switches… fixes are in progress.
Unstyled / Incomplete Components: Some parts of the UI are visually incomplete or not interactive yet.
Signup is Disabled: Only approved alpha testers have access at this stage. This is intentional.
GIF Menu is Experimental: May behave inconsistently or fail to load content.
Mobile UI Is Not Finalized: The mobile experience is currently rough. For best results, test on desktop.

We’ll continue refining features, patching bugs, and improving performance based on your feedback. Expect quicker, smaller patch builds to follow this milestone as we stabilize the Alpha experience.
