Tavrn Alpha Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Effective Date: June 28, 2025

Between: Tavrn (operated by versioncontrol, "Tavrn", "we", "our")

And: [Your Name Here] ("you", "the Tester")

1. Purpose

You are being granted access to Tavrn Alpha, a pre-release version of the Tavrn platform. As part of your participation in this test, you may receive access to confidential, unreleased, or proprietary features, tools, and designs.

This Non-Disclosure Agreement ("Agreement") is intended to protect that confidential information.

2. Confidential Information

Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unreleased features, designs, and UI elements

  • Bugs, backend systems, architecture, or performance data

  • Internal discussions or documentation

  • Any screenshots, recordings, or written descriptions of the alpha platform

  • Any materials labeled “confidential,” “private,” or “pre-release”

3. Obligations of the Tester

By signing this Agreement, you agree to:

  • Not disclose, share, or publicly post any confidential information

  • Not take or share screenshots, videos, or recordings of the Tavrn Alpha unless granted written permission

  • Use the alpha only for testing purposes, and not to copy, reverse-engineer, or exploit the platform

  • Promptly notify Tavrn if you become aware of any leaks, bugs, or issues

4. Exceptions

This Agreement does not apply to information that:

  • Is or becomes public knowledge through no fault of the Tester

  • Was known by the Tester before joining the Tavrn Alpha, as proven by written evidence

  • Is required to be disclosed by law or legal order (with notice given to Tavrn, if possible)

5. Term & Termination

This Agreement is effective upon your participation in the Tavrn Alpha and will remain in effect until Tavrn officially exits public beta, or until otherwise released from these terms in writing.

Tavrn reserves the right to revoke your access to the platform at any time.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tavrn operates (Maryland, United States), without regard to conflicts of law principles.

7. Acceptance

By participating in the Tavrn Alpha, you agree to the terms of this NDA. A signed physical copy may be requested in the future.
